Home-based businesswoman, Peggy Vincent is preparing to celebrate the sixth annual "Stay Home With Your Kids Day" on Monday August 19, 2002. Stay Home With Your Kids Day is sponsored by The Online Magazine for Work-at-Home Moms. The purpose of the day is to provide a day of recognition and celebration for those parents who have chosen to be home with their children.

Cheryl Demas, publisher of the web site says, "If you're thinking about leaving the traditional workplace, Stay Home With Your Kids Day is the perfect opportunity to take a vacation day and give serious thought to making the change. Leaving your job may not be an easy decision, but if you heart aches every time you drive away from the child care center in the morning, it might be time to look at other options." And there are many options for parents today; aside from working full-time outside the home. Many parents are finding that working from home is the perfect solution to their work/home dilemma.

Peggy Vincent has been running Comfy Cozy, inc. from her home since February 1994.   The company creates ?magical? glow in the dark pillow cases with a wide selection of designs for all ages and occasions.  From new borns and new parents to the latest ?Will you marry me??,  Comfy Cozy offers consumers with unique gifts that will become treasured keepsakes.

When her first child was born in 1998, Peggy was committed to being a WAHM and chose not to send her child to daycare or hire a baby-sitter.  Now the mother of two, Vincent says, ?While things can get a bit hectic, I wouldn?t trade my toy covered desk for a corner office with a view!?

As Demas States, "If we can have a day to take our children to work, we should be able to devote one day to staying home with our children. While we realize that not all parents can or wish to be home full-time with their kids, is dedicated to giving advice and support to those who are determined to make it work. Give it a try; 'Mom' can be the best job description you've ever had."
